I'm beginning work on a new comic book project. I'm doing the plotting now. Because I've not put together a comic book in about 4 years this will be a fun and challenging project for me. I'm planning to handle the writing and artwork myself. My hope is that I'll have enough finished by the time I go to San Diego Comic Con that I'll be able to show it off ... possibly even talk it through with a publisher or two.
I also had it confirmed for me today that I do indeed have a table in Artists' Alley at San Diego Comic Con. This means that I need to assemble a portfolio for the show as well as put together a flyer or postcard or something that I can hand out / leave with publishers in the hopes of getting some project work. I'd like to work as a colorist and do pinups / cover work. The samples I put together for the show will reflect that direction so expect to see lots of comics-related artwork from me.
All the best!

best get of this blog and get to work!
I scripted 22 pages yesterday with panel breakdowns and dialogue. I figure I'm about halfway through the first draft. I also took a break to draw for a bit yesterday and almost finished penciling a pinup for my portfolio.
